Description
INTRAS is a non-profit organisation created in 1994 and dedicated to high quality research and intervention in the mental health field, combining research, training, social innovation and clinical practice. Consists of 11 centres in 8 different provinces in Spain with more than 200 psychiatrists, psychologists and professionals from social and economic fields carrying out research, training and clinical practice, and serving yearly more than 1.500 users. The main target group of INTRAS are people suffering from mental disorders, whereby the organisation also performs activities and offers services to people with functional diversity, elderly and people at risk of social exclusion. INTRAS has a large national and European network, coordinating and collaborating in projects from a great variety of programs such as Erasmus+, Horizon2020 or Interreg. So far, we have implemented more than 40 R&D projects. During 2021, INTRAS started 37 new projects focussed in improving the opportunities and life quality of vulnerable people. INTRAS Foundation is certified by EFQM - Business Excellence European Quality 400+, being reference site by the European Innovation Partnership in Active and Healthy Ageing.
